You may be responsible for import duties and taxes on your international order. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges or delays and cannot predict what they may be. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for additional information.We cannot be liable for lost or undelivered packages. We try hard to minimize these situations by using tracking numbers on all of our shipments.

Any shipping costs back to Shockoe Atelier for repairs, alterations (including hemming), returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.  


It’s important to us that you love your purchase.  If for any reason that’s not the case, you can return any item (not marked as final sale) within 15 days of purchase for a full refund.  Any returned items must be in unworn, unwashed, original condition with receipt and tags attached.  After 15 days from the date of purchase, we cannot accept any items for return.

Email us at for return requests.  We suggest you use a method of shipment that is trackable and insured when you send your return.  We are not liable for any lost or undelivered packages.  

Returns will be processed within three business days from the date we receive your return, and refunds are issued in the form and amount originally tendered.

Due to the personalized nature of any alterations (including hemming), made-to-measure, or bespoke items, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on these purchases.  We recommend that you try on your purchased items before having them hemmed, either by us or by a local provider of hemming services.

Gift cards and final sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange.


Our systems do not currently allow for exchanges.  To exchange an item, we suggest that you order your desired item online to ensure availability, and then process the unwanted item as if it were a return.
